Don't Despair Car Repair Program
In response to our strategic goal of helping our community become more mobile, we created a program that can help individuals with much-needed car repairs. United Way will fund up to $1,000 in car repairs for qualified applicants. Applicants must be residents of Franklin County, Livermore, or Livermore Falls.
*Effective immediately* potential applicants must present proof of income and have applications pre-authorized at the United Way of the Tri-Valley Area's office, located at 218 Fairbanks Road in Farmington. Upon completion of the first page and confirmation that criteria are met, pre-approved applicants will then be directed to a participating garage for an estimate. Once the estimate is received, the application and the estimate will be sent to the committee for review and approval/denial. Applicant and garage will both be notified of the decision within 48 hours.
