Care and Share Food Closet - Funding helps Care and Share provide emergency food to the Greater Farmington community.
Catholic Charities - SEARCH Program (Seek Elderly Alone, Renew Courage and Hope) - Funding enables vulnerable seniors age 60 plus to remain independent in their homes and create a long-term support system to meet their needs.
Kennebec Behavioral Health - United Way funding increases the capacity of KBH to provide outpatient mental health services in Greater Franklin County.
Literacy Volunteers Serving Franklin and Somerset Counties - Funding supports adult tutoring and other programs that increase independence and promote literacy skills.
Rural Community Action Ministry - Funding is for the Senior Transportation program in Livermore and Livermore Falls. This program provides rides to seniors 55 and older and to people with limited mobility.
Safe Voices - In 2022 United Way provided funding for a van so transportation could be provided to those survivors of domestic violence who are staying at the Farmington shelter.
SeniorsPlus - Meals on Wheels is funded by United Way allowing homebound seniors to remain living independently.
