Western Maine Community Action
Western Maine Community Action programs include: Operation Santa Claus, which provides Christmas for low-income families; Seeds of Life, which helps families with nutritional assistance with seeds and seedlings; Grow-A-Row, which encourages local gardeners to grow extra produce for food pantries; and serves as a local distribution site for food shipments to 9 area food pantries.
To help people, change lives, and assist people in eliminating barriers to self-sufficiency and improving the quality of life.
