RSVP places people 55 and older in volunteer positions in non-profit agencies and organizations in Greater Franklin County and surrounding communities that meet high impact community needs. The volunteers are offered a "smorgasbord" of opportunities that allow them the flexibility they need to find the position that best suits their personality, volunteer goals, and time frame. Our Coordinator ensures that volunteers find the right assignment for them and that they are provided needed orientation, in-service instruction, and support, supervision and recognition by the organization they are placed with. HealthReach RSVP offers volunteers limited mileage reimbursement, recognition, and Personal Injury, Excess Automobile and Excess Personal Liability insurance at no cost to the volunteer or to the station they serve.
Mission
RSVP is charged with the dual purpose of engaging persons 55 and older in volunteer service to meet the critical community needs and to provide a high quality experience that will enrich the lives of the volunteers.
