Western Maine Centers for Children
Western Maine Centers for Children was founded in 1987 in Carrabassett Valley, Maine, under the name "Western Maine Children's Museum". The original mission was to provide quality early care and education experience for young children and their families. For many years WMCFC operated a hands-on children's museum, a nursery school, traveling education exhibits for child care centers and public school classrooms among other initiatives
