Mission or goal: To strenghten families and prevent child abuse and neglect through a mentoring program that assists first time parents in responding to their parental responsibilities in a healthy way.
Volunteer opportunities: To be matched with first time parents for a year, to assist the newsletter editor in writing articles, to make welcome bags for new parents, and to assist in maintaining the library.
Required training: 10 hours of immediate training and on-going trainings.
Time requirement: Approximately 1 hour per week.
