New! Venture Grant Awards
UWTVA is pleased to announce the award of two $5,000 Venture Grants in 2011. Congratulations to New Beginnings which provides services to homeless youth in Greater Franklin County, and Safe Voices, which advocates for those impacted by domestic violence. New Beginnings sought and received funding to expand the age group it serves to 24 years of age. Safe Voices sought and received funding to explore the feasibility of opening a domestic violence shelter in Franklin County.
